3 Days of Design is coming: we predict these will be the highlights
I can almost smell the cinnamon buns in anticipation, because Copenhagen’s design week starts on Tuesday (9 June). The event, which has been growing in international importance every year, is again spread across showrooms and landmarks throughout the Danish capital. As always, there is a lot to see. That’s why we have been hard at work to simplify things: our guide provides the inside scoop on what we think will be the launches, exhibitions and installations that everyone’s talking about. You’ll find a deeper chat about some of the main highlights (including the ‘Aalto 90’ pavilion, pictured) in our June issue, on sale now, but consider this your essential overview. – Ben Spriggs, Editor-in-Chief

Crafted from alabaster, the shade of this compact lamp produces a beautifully diffuse glow against the stainless-steel base. |
| The ‘Obello’ by Bill Curry for Gubi has a hand-blown design that illuminates from base to shade. Plus, it is suitable for outdoors.
| An ideal lamp for compact rooms, this design’s glass dome sits within a metal embrace. Choose from three brightness levels. |
